I design identities, publications and digital products for people who care how things are made.
My name is Riley Jones, and I am a Graphic and Web Designer based in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. I graduated from Mercyhurst University in 2021, where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design and a focus in Web Design. I am skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud Programs, WordPress, HTML, CSS, Figma, Microsoft programs, and social media.
Before a single mark, I map the audience, the shelf and the competition. The brief usually comes back one page sharper than it arrived — and a few assumptions don't survive the week.
One artefact is easy. I design the rules behind it: the type scale, the spacing, the colour logic, the way a mark behaves at three sizes. That's what makes the twentieth application look as considered as the first.
Print tests, press checks, responsive passes at real content volume. The last ten percent is where most projects lose their nerve, so I stay on them until they're signed off properly.
